He works mainly in oil painting, ceramics and sculpture, as well as installation and design, between cultural tradition, personal experience and contemporary life. ### 他是怎樣走上藝術道路的？ / How did his career begin? 他從廣告與雜誌插畫起步，曾在上海電子信息職業技術學院任教五年，其後成為獨立藝術家。2012年在上海成龍電影藝術館繪製12.8米巨幅油畫《中國龍》；2013年得成龍賞識引薦，為全球43位名人定製《十二金釵》。 He began in advertising and magazine illustration and taught for five years at Shanghai Electronic Information Vocational and Technical College before working independently. Chinese Dragon (also known as Feiyi China), a 12.8 × 2.5 m oil painting whose dragon follows the Yangtze over 1,800 grid cells of China’s national intangible cultural heritage. And the ceramic Twelve Golden Hairpins, after Dream of the Red Chamber. ### 他為什麼以《山海經》為主題？ / Why the Shan Hai Jing? 中學時初讀《山海經》，書中的形象此後常入夢中；後來他重拾少年時的手稿，系統地展開山海經系列。他將創作歸源於三本書：天書《易經》、人書《黃帝內經》、地書《山海經》，並以造型、平面、文案、金文、圖騰與線上世界六大體系呈現。2019年完成純手工製作的809尊山海經雕塑，2020年完成8米《山海圖》，2026年完成582頁的山海經全解析《山海宇宙》。 He first read the Shan Hai Jing in middle school, and its images kept returning in his dreams; later he went back to his teenage manuscripts and began the series in earnest. He traces his practice to three books — the I Ching, the Huangdi Neijing and the Shan Hai Jing — and develops it through six systems: form, painting, writing, ancient script, totems and a digital world.
