Shanhai Universe ARTBOOK
The Shanhai Universe ARTBOOK gathers Lu Renjie’s years of work on the Shan Hai Jing into a world of text and images that can be explored page by page. Classical text, figures and creatures, original totems, bronze-inspired script and geographical routes are placed together for cross-reading across different forms of expression.
The book follows the chapters of the Shan Hai Jing, using route maps, classified indexes and text-image correspondences to help readers locate and compare material. The six systems become complementary paths through the book. A continuous 582-page working proof is available as a reading and correction sample; publication and final printing remain subject to confirmation.
